This leading technology developer urgently seeks an AI Software Research Engineer to be based at their R+D Centre in Pisa.

The AI Software Research Engineer will be responsible for the research and development of next generation AI and ML systems used in the automotive industry worldwide and you will be developing AI workflows combining AI Agents, LLM’s and external tools to improve embedded engineering productivity and quality.

Having completed your Masters or PhD you will have gained several years of experience developing software in C++ and Python aimed at ML and LLMs.

You will be familiar with AI Agent frameworks or retrieval-augmented generation technology and any research publications in AI for Software Engineer or intelligent systems would be beneficial.
