I am recruiting for an Analog IC Design Engineer to join my client in the Toulouse area.
They are an established semiconductor company developing high performance ICs used in automotive, industrial, consumer and renewable energy applications.
As an Analog IC Design Engineer, you will:
- Design and optimise blocks including op amps, comparators, bandgaps, references and protection circuits
- Take part in specification, design, simulation and validation of power management and mixed signal ICs
- Collaborate with layout engineers on matching, floorplanning and parasitic aware design
- Run simulations such as corners, Monte Carlo, noise and reliability analysis
- Support silicon evaluation and debugging in the lab alongside test and applications teams
- Produce documentation covering specifications, simulations and design reviews
The Analog IC Design Engineer should have:
- A degree in electronic engineering or a related subject, MSc or higher preferred
- Around 5 years of analog IC design experience, ideally in power management or signal chain products
- Knowledge of CMOS, BCD or BiCMOS processes
- Practical experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre and standard EDA tools
- Good understanding of stability, noise and mismatch analysis
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in an international environment
