Business Analyst

Business Analyst – Contract | Hybrid | Inside IR35

I am working with an international technology-focused organisation seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a range of enterprise process and digital transformation initiatives.

The successful contractor will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and development partners to gather requirements, improve workflows, and support the delivery of scalable business solutions across complex operational environments.

This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, experience within Agile environments, and the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions
• Collaborate with technical teams and external development partners to support solution delivery
• Support project planning, delivery tracking, and risk management activities
• Coordinate testing activities including UAT and validation of delivered solutions
• Analyse and manage business data to ensure integrity, consistency, and usability
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and operational improvements
• Maintain documentation including workflows, process maps, and system specifications
• Support Agile delivery practices including backlog refinement and sprint activities

Required experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within enterprise or digital transformation environments
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, process mapping, and requirement documentation
• Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience supporting project delivery and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Desirable skills

• Experience with workflow automation or document management platforms
• Exposure to reporting or data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Business Analysis or Agile certifications (CBAP, Scrum, Agile BA, etc.)
• Experience working within highly regulated or process-driven environments
