CRA Compliance Technical Lead

An exciting opportunity for a CRA Compliance Technical Lead has arisen with a global technology leader developing world-class semiconductor and software solutions, based in Cork.

As a CRA Compliance Technical Lead, you will play a key role in helping the organisation meet the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act by driving scalable product security compliance across a large portfolio of products. Working closely with product security, engineering, standards, and release management teams, you will translate evolving regulatory requirements into practical engineering solutions, building automation that streamlines compliance, evidence collection, vulnerability governance, and reporting.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, combining product security expertise with compliance automation, secure development practices, and cross-functional stakeholder management. You will help shape how CRA compliance is embedded into engineering processes while driving consistency and scalability across the organisation.

This is an onsite role, requiring you onsite 5 days a week.

Experience of the CRA Compliance Technical Lead will include:

• Proven experience in product security, cybersecurity compliance, security architecture, or technical security governance
• Strong understanding of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and its impact on software and hardware product development
• Experience translating regulatory or security requirements into engineering controls, technical processes, and automation
• Hands-on experience building or managing compliance automation, evidence collection, reporting, or governance workflows
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives and influence engineering teams without direct authority
