Embedded Software Engineer

The team are now looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to support the development of software across a range of cutting-edge systems, working at the intersection of embedded software, automation and advanced hardware.

You’ll join a growing engineering team working across multiple projects, developing software for microcontroller-based systems, embedded Linux platforms and FPGA-connected hardware.

For this Embedded Software Engineer role, we are looking for someone with:

• Commercial experience developing embedded software in C/C++
• Experience working with microcontrollers and embedded systems
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation or testing
• Experience with Git version control and modern software development practices
• Understanding of unit testing and CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with Linux development environments and command-line tools
• Ideally, experience working with FPGA-based systems or software that interfaces with hardware platforms
