FPGA Engineer

Ile de France, France
Fast-growing start-up building autonomous defence systems
Job ID: 387005

We are excited to be supporting a fast-growing start-up building autonomous defence systems, who are looking to add an FPGA Engineer to their R&D team in Paris. This role offers the opportunity to work on real-time wireless communication systems, collaborating closely with embedded and RF engineers on cutting-edge signal processing challenges.

As the FPGA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing high-performance DSP pipelines for drone-to-base station links. You’ll be involved throughout the full FPGA development lifecycle—from early prototyping to production-ready deployment.

They are looking for an FPGA Engineer with the following background:

  • FPGA design and development (VHDL/Verilog)
  • Strong understanding of digital signal processing (FFT, QAM, FSK, OFDM)
  • Experience with FEC techniques (LDPC, Turbo), DUC/DDC, and AGC
  • Familiarity with RF system integration and real-time constraints
  • Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
