FPGA Engineer

We’re supporting a technology company in Milan developing advanced radar platforms for airborne, satellite, and terrestrial sensing. They are looking for an FPGA Design Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of high-throughput digital systems powering next-generation radar applications.

This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer who enjoys tackling complex signal processing challenges in real-time environments. You’ll work on algorithm implementation, custom RTL development, and hardware verification for radar SoC platforms.

They are looking for an FPGA Engineer with the following background:

• 3+ years of experience in FPGA/RTL design (VHDL or Verilog)
• Strong grasp of digital signal processing principles
• Skilled in simulation and verification using tools like ModelSim or Vivado
• Experience developing testbenches and working with high-speed data paths
• Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Aerospace Engineering

Bonus experience:

• Experience with Zynq SoCs and embedded Linux
• Familiarity with C/C++ or TCL scripting
• Matlab for modelling and algorithm development
