Our international client is now searching for a GaN Device Engineer to work remotely to support the development of GaN power devices. The role will involve focusing on electrical characterisation, data analysis, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform DC electrical testing (Id–Vgs, Id–Vds, CV, breakdown)
- Analyse and interpret measurement data to guide development and optimisation
- Plan and evaluate experiments (DOE) for device design and process improvements
- Troubleshoot performance, yield, and reliability issues using semiconductor physics knowledge
- Work cross-functionally with design, layout, and process teams
- Coordinate with external fabrication and testing facilities
Requirements:
- Approx 3+ years’ experience in device engineering or semiconductor characterisation
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of GaN reliability and qualification methods
- Understanding of GaN epitaxy
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., JMP)
