Infrastructure Engineer

An exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer has arisen with an innovative technology company developing cutting-edge wireless communications solutions, based in Southampton.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and continual improvement of the engineering infrastructure that supports software and hardware development teams. Working within a highly technical environment, you will be responsible for managing on-premise systems, virtualisation platforms, networking, storage, automation tooling, and CI/CD infrastructure, while helping to implement solutions that streamline day-to-day operational activities.

This is primarily an onsite role, requiring regular presence within the engineering environment to support critical infrastructure and development systems.

Experience of the Infrastructure Engineer will include:

• Strong Linux systems administration experience, e.g. RedHat
• Networking expertise
• Storage Management, e.g. NetApp
• Virtualisation platform administration, e.g. VMWare
• Automation approach, e.g. Ansible, Terraform
• Desired: Kubernetes
