Junior QA Operations Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior QA Operations Engineer to join a leading provider of secure transaction audit, internal control and verification software, based in Watford.

This is a unique opportunity for an IVS Operations Specialist to join a highly specialised Operations & Quality Assurance team. This junior-level role offers excellent career development, with the opportunity to build and develop a QA function from the ground up. You’ll gain exposure across manual software testing, systems operations, financial data validation, release management and incident resolution, working with business-critical systems within a highly regulated environment.

Hybrid working, with daily office attendance for the first three months, moving to 2-3 days a week thereafter. A rotational evening and weekend on-call schedule also applies.

Experience for the Junior QA Operations Engineer includes:

• 1+ years of QA experience
• Experience designing and executing test cases, functional test plans and tracking defects through to resolution.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases, alongside API testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience using Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.
• Desired: ISTQB certification
