This Lead Hardware Engineer role focuses on the development of advanced electronic products from concept through production. The Lead Hardware Engineer will provide technical leadership across hardware design activities while supporting the growth of the engineering team. The Lead Hardware Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware development projects from requirements through release
• Design analogue and digital electronic circuits
• Develop schematics and support PCB design and review activities
• Guide hardware engineers through design, testing and troubleshooting
• Perform design reviews and provide technical direction
• Support board bring-up, verification and product qualification
• Work closely with software, mechanical and systems engineers
• Support manufacturing, NPI and product improvement activities

Requirements

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong experience in electronic hardware design
• Good understanding of analogue and digital electronics
• Experience developing products through the full development lifecycle
• Ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers
• Hands-on experience with lab testing and debugging
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable

• Experience with high-speed digital design
• Knowledge of embedded systems or FPGA-based products
• Exposure to regulated or high-reliability industries
• Experience supporting manufacturing and production teams
