OLD JOB – IC Layout Lead

I am recruiting for a Lead IC Layout Engineer to join my client’s team in Northern Italy, working on high performance semiconductor products.

The Lead IC Layout Engineer will combine technical leadership with hands on delivery across complex analog, digital, and mixed signal layouts in an advanced process node. This Lead IC Layout Engineer position is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping methodology while remaining close to design execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the layout team while setting standards and best practice
• Own hands on layout for key analog, digital, and mixed signal blocks
• Work closely with designers on floorplanning and implementation
• Manage verification and sign off including DRC, LVS, and PEX
• Support integration, reliability checks, and tape out readiness

Requirements

• Strong experience in IC layout within an advanced process node
• Proven leadership combined with hands on technical capability
• Background across analog and digital with mixed signal integration
• Solid knowledge of sign off flows and Cadence based environments
• Track record of successful tape outs and cross functional collaboration
