PIC Design Engineer

We’re looking for a talented PIC Design Engineer to join our clients team in Oxford, working on the design and development of cutting-edge silicon photonic integrated circuits (PICs).

You’ll work across PIC architecture, optical/electrical simulation, layout and tape-out, helping take innovative photonic technologies from concept through to silicon.

Requirements

• Msc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Physics or a related field
• Experience with PIC / silicon photonics design
• Familiarity with photonic simulation and layout tools e.g Lumerical and Ipkiss
• Understanding of integrated optics and optical devices
• Experience taking designs through tape-out and fabrication is desirable
