Principal Electronics Engineer

This Principal Electronics Engineer role focuses on the development of advanced electronic systems for complex technology products. The Principal Electronics Engineer will provide technical leadership across hardware development projects, from concept through production. The Principal Electronics Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of analogue and digital electronic systems
• Define hardware architectures and technical requirements
• Develop schematics and oversee PCB design activities
• Support system integration, testing and validation
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams
• Conduct design reviews and support key technical decisions
• Work closely with software, systems and mechanical engineers
• Support products through qualification, manufacturing and release

Requirements

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
• Extensive experience in electronics hardware design
• Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics
• Experience developing complex products through the full lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, testing and debugging
• Ability to lead technical projects and influence engineering direction
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable

• Experience with embedded systems, FPGAs or high-speed digital design
• Knowledge of RF, communications or aerospace systems
• Experience supporting manufacturing and NPI activities
• Exposure to high-reliability or mission-critical products
• Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience
