Principal Firmware Engineer

An established space and satellite communications company are looking for a talented Principal Firmware Engineer, where your responsibilities would include acting as a senior figure in low level development and help to develop the team’s skills.

You will be working with both the software, firmware teams, where you would contribute to low level firmware, chip bring up and real time development, while mentoring the team.

Requirements:

• Strong experience developing low-level firmware in C
• Proven background in real-time or embedded systems
• Experience working close to hardware, drivers and chip-level software
• Ability to mentor engineers and take on technical leadership responsibilities
• Experience delivering features and owning workstreams within projects
