RF IC Design Engineer – mmWave

I am recruiting for a Senior RF IC Design Engineer to join my client’s engineering team in Auvergne Rhône Alpes, France. This is a full time role for an engineer with at least 5 years of experience in mmWave IC design and high frequency circuit development.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimise mmWave ICs and high frequency analog circuits.

• Develop RF circuit blocks, including amplifiers, oscillators, mixers and frequency multipliers.

• Perform RF and electromagnetic simulations, impedance matching and post layout analysis.

• Support IC layout, tape out, silicon characterisation and mmWave laboratory measurements.

• Design and validate test boards and supporting electronics for high frequency IC integration.

• Debug silicon and hardware, addressing performance issues at chip and board level.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in mmWave or high frequency RF IC design.

• Strong understanding of transmission lines, impedance matching, parasitics and high frequency circuit design.

• Experience with RF simulation, electromagnetic analysis and silicon validation.

• Hands on experience with mmWave measurement equipment and laboratory testing.

• Knowledge of CMOS, BiCMOS or SiGe technologies.

• Experience with electronic board design and high frequency hardware integration.

• Familiarity with IC design and simulation tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, ADS or equivalent.
