Senior MEMS Design Engineer

I am recruiting for a Senior MEMS Design Engineer to join my client’s team in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. This role offers the opportunity to work on the design and industrialisation of next-generation sensors.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead new MEMS design projects, either internally or with academic and research partners
• Optimise the design of MEMS sensors, including accelerometers, gyros and IMUs
• Manage the portfolio of MEMS designs and intellectual property
• Collaborate with electronics, packaging, testing and qualification teams
• Work closely with customers to align product development with requirements

I am looking for someone with experience in some of the following areas:

• PhD in engineering with strong knowledge of mechanics, physics and sensors
• Around 5+ years of experience in sensor design
• MEMS sensor design, analytical modelling and layout
• Strong FEM simulation and post-processing expertise
• Understanding of system-level requirements and qualification standards
• Innovative and collaborative approach to problem-solving
