Senior Photonics Engineer

We’re seeking a Senior Photonics Engineer to lead the design, simulation, and development of advanced PICs for next-generation optical systems. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle, from concept and layout through fabrication and test.

Requirements

• Design, simulate, and develop photonic integrated circuits (e.g. waveguides, modulators, detectors)
• Lead PIC layout, verification, and tape-out activities
• Experience with PIC design and simulation tools and foundry PDKs
• Support fabrication, packaging, and device characterisation
• Strong background in integrated photonics or optical engineering
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
• Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary R&D environment
