We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior RF/Analog IC Designer to join our innovative and dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge Analog/RF/mmWave circuits and systems for AI datacentres. The position is based in Switzerland and is 5 days office based.
Responsibilities
- Apply specialized expertise in the design, drafting, testing, and release of new products, devices, circuits, and systems.
- Take ownership of assigned design activities and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Collaborate closely with transistor designers, application engineers, and device engineering teams to foster a cohesive team environment.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize simulation and test data to provide clear and concise status reports.
- Partner with chip leads to support the Product Engineering group in transferring products to production.
Qualifications ,Technical Skills and Competencies:
- MSc or PhD in Electronics Engineering plus around 4 years of hands-on experience in Analog/RF IC design related to High speed AMS IC design, ideally with experience in TIA, lasre drivers or receivers
- Extensive knowledge of Analog/RF/mmWave circuits and systems, including TIA.
- Proven ability to propose innovative solutions at the IP level, with expertise in BiCMOS and PAM4 technologies.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard electronics simulation tools and software, such as Cadence and ADS, as well as test equipment like Spectrum Analyzers and Network Analyzers.
- Experience with Electro-magnetic, Electro-optic, and thermal simulations.
- Familiarity with integration processes and designing for high yield and cost efficiency.
- Expertise in the operation and calibration of industry-standard test equipment.
- Hands-on experience in designing evaluation boards, addressing both electrical and thermal considerations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
