An innovative and growing European semiconductor company is seeking an experienced Senior SoC Verification Manager to lead the verification of its next-generation AI processors.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the verification strategy for a complex, cache-coherent, multi-core AI system, working on cutting-edge semiconductor technology combining RISC-V processors, advanced memory architectures and AI acceleration.

Based in Barcelona, the company offers international visa sponsorship and relocation support, welcoming experienced engineers from across the world.

The Role

• Lead the verification of a complex 4-core coherent SoC through to tape-out sign-off
• Manage and mentor 3–4 verification leads across CPU cores, L2 cache, interconnects and other subsystems
• Define verification strategies, plans, methodologies and coverage targets
• Drive functional verification using SystemVerilog and UVM
• Oversee simulation, emulation, regression infrastructure and verification automation
• Collaborate closely with architecture and RTL design teams, influencing technical decisions
• Manage verification schedules, resources, risks and team development

Your Background

• 12+ years of ASIC / SoC Design Verification experience
• Expert knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM
• Proven experience leading verification engineers or technical teams
• Strong experience verifying cache-coherent multi-core systems or subsystems
• Experience driving verification planning, coverage closure and tape-out sign-off
• Knowledge of AXI, CHI and industry-standard simulation tools such as VCS, Questa or Xcelium
• Experience with RISC-V, CPU verification, AI accelerators, formal verification or emulation would be advantageous
