System Requirement Engineer – Software / Semiconductors

This leading developer of high-speed communications systems is seeking an experienced System Requirement Engineer – Semiconductor / Software to be based at their R+D centre in Munich.

Working closely with both internal and external customers you will be responsible for next generation systems requirement generation using market and customer requirements intelligence.

The System Requirement Engineer – Semiconductor / Software will be responsible for feasibility, trade offs and architecture definition for next generation system level software / hardware co-design projects, you will also be involved in presenting to customers and internal development teams.

Having completed your technical studies (computer science, electronic engineering) you will have gained 5+ years of experience in systems requirements engineering preferably gained in either a software or semiconductor development environment.

You will have a good understanding of system (and associated software) architectures including exposure to very complex electronic systems.

Coupled with this you should have some knowledge of software / hardware co-design, SystemC (or similar) and some exposure to high-speed communications (PCIe, Displayport, HDMI).

You need to speak fluent German and English
