I am seeking a Machine Learning Researcher with key strengths in distributed systems / distributed computing for machine learning, to join my client on a fully remote basis across Europe or the US. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your ML research experience in industry with a growing software development company.

Primary responsibilities

• Train highly distributed ML models over a uniquely decentralised infrastructure
• Research new model architectures
• Publish research papers in top tier ML conferences

Essential experience

• PhD in Machine Learning with relevant publications at top tier conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML etc.
• Must have research experience in distributed computing for machine learning, specific to model training

Desired experience

• Wealth of start-up experience in relation to distributed systems and ML research
• Experience training LLMs (Large Language Models)
• Communication backend experience - e.g. NCCL, GLOO and MPI
