Data Scientist

Based in their London site you will work within a wider team to undertake multiple different business functions bringing a multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving and analysis. You will directly contribute to building the business’ data culture and enabling evidence-based decisions in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Leveraging industry standards and empirical research to develop innovative approaches to achieving the business’ goals
• Nurturing the end-to-end data solution by using cutting-edge machine learning or statistical modelling techniques to derive insights and tackle complex business challenges
• Work with the wider technical team including data scientists and engineers to help support the growth and development of the analytics practice within the organisation

Skills

• Develop predictive and prescriptive models to generate business insights and communicate findings clearly
• Proficient in analytical tools and languages such as Python, R, and SQL
• Experience with large language models and prompt engineering; GCP knowledge is a plus
• Interest in a wide range of ML techniques, from linear models and random forests to deep learning
• Strong interest in machine vision or natural language processing
• Solid foundation in statistics
• Ability to work both independently and in small teams on analytics projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively
