As a Field Application Engineer (FAE), you will act as the technical bridge between customers and cutting-edge power architectures, supporting design wins, accelerating adoption of next-generation solutions, and ensuring customer success through hands-on technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with business development and account teams to identify and qualify new opportunities
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including product selection, system design, and troubleshooting
  • Capture customer requirements and liaise with product engineering teams
  • Deliver technical seminars, training, and hands-on product evaluations in the local lab
  • Support distribution partners with technical presentations and customer engagement
  • Conduct schematic reviews and provide project support for ongoing programs
  • Build strong relationships with customer engineering teams throughout the sales cycle

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in analog/power supply design or applications engineering
  • Strong knowledge of analog circuit design and electronics techniques
  • Experience in the automotive market is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Italian
  • Proven ability to work effectively with distribution partners and channel customers
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills

Location: Milan, Italy (Office-based with 30–50% travel)
