Field Sales Engineer

Technical Account Manager/Field Sales Engineer required for a niche electronics distributor and solutions provider with offices in Europe, US and Asia.   This is a field-based role and suitable candidates will have previous experience within the semiconductor/electronics industry and be degree-qualified within Electronics.

Reporting to the EMEA HQ you will be responsible for the existing customers across Italy as well as targeting new business.  For more experienced candidates this role could include managing a larger territory (i.e. Spain and Portugal). 

Suitable candidates will be home-based in the North of Italy (Milano – Venezia) and be comfortable traveling frequently. 

Key requirements:

• Degree qualified within Electronics
• Fluent in Italian and English.  French would be advantageous but not a must
• Previous Sales/Account Management experience required
• Good understanding of electronic and semiconductor components
• Experience working with sensors and audio components would be highly advantageous
• Strong customer-facing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
