Field Applications Engineer (FAE)

Field Applications Engineer (FAE), Bristol based company with circa 20% travel, cutting edge technology company with global clients. You may already be working as an FAE or you will likely be a Software Engineer looking for a challenging, customer facing career or a customer facing engineer with industry experience in a software. 

This role requires a strong technical background and experience in at least C#, Unity, C++ or javascript, you will need to be a creative, outgoing individual who enjoys presenting technical solutions to clients and bringing back requirements to the internal software engineering teams who you will work alongside and coordinate with.

Key requirements for the Filed Applications Engineer (FAE):

• A technical degree and background in Software Engineering
• Experience with C#, Unity or C++
• Customer facing skills
• Strong communication, organisation and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel within Europe 

All travel expenses are covered for this role and trips away from home are typically for 1-3 days at a time. You will get to work with the same clients over long periods of time during which you will maintain a relationship and correspondence. You will be working for a world leading company with experts in interface design, acoustics, machine learning and computer vision.
