Junior Embedded Software Engineer

Join a growing IoT technology company based in Leeds,on a  hybrid working model.
This innovative engineering team is developing low-power sensor systems deployed in real-world environments, combining embedded software with advanced data processing to deliver accurate, scalable solutions. The team are now looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to support the continued development of firmware and algorithms as products move into wider deployment.

You’ll work closely with electronics and R&D teams, developing embedded software for sensor-based systems while applying mathematical and algorithmic thinking to improve performance, accuracy and efficiency.

For this Embedded Software Engineer role, we are looking for someone with:

• Strong experience developing embedded software in C (C++ a bonus)
• Experience working on microcontroller-based systems (bare-metal or RTOS)
• A solid understanding of mathematics and algorithm development
• Experience working with real-world sensor data (e.g. motion, vibration, environmental)
• Even better if you have experience with wireless technologies such as BLE or LoRa
