Are you passionate about high-speed digital design and want to contribute to cutting-edge imaging platforms used globally in life sciences, manufacturing, robotics and beyond? A UK-based product company is looking for an FPGA Engineer to take ownership of complex hardware development at the heart of their next-generation vision systems.

This is a hands-on design role where you’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to implement and verify high-performance FPGA solutions across a diverse portfolio of products. The company combines long-term customer partnerships with real engineering depth — giving you the opportunity to develop production-grade designs with visible impact.

You’ll be working on:

  • End-to-end FPGA design using VHDL/SystemVerilog
  • Implementing interfaces like PCIe, CoaXPress, MIPI, DDR4/5, Ethernet, QSFP
  • Simulation, verification, and debugging using advanced test methods
  • Supporting product development from prototype to release
  • Collaborating with hardware, software, and production teams

What you’ll bring:

  • FPGA development experience (Xilinx, Intel, or Lattice)
  • Confident in writing, verifying, and documenting FPGA-based systems
  • Solid understanding of digital hardware, PCB integration, and EMI/EMC practices
  • Bonus: Imaging knowledge, Python/TCL scripting, or CI/CD experience
