Director of Operations

An innovative deep-tech company at the forefront of atomic-scale manufacturing is entering a major growth phase. With a proprietary technology platform and growing international traction, they’re now seeking their first VP of Operations to establish and lead the operational backbone of the business.

This is a build-from-scratch opportunity – ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and understands what it takes to move a complex hardware product from lab to scalable production.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building out core operational functions across supply chain, production, facilities and internal processes

• Translating the technical roadmap into scalable, quality-focused operations

• Partnering with engineering and leadership to ensure the company is ready for manufacturing scale-up

• Developing supplier networks and operational partnerships globally

• Implementing tools, systems and reporting frameworks that evolve with the company

• Leading preparations for audits, certifications and customer delivery milestones

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in a semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or deep-tech hardware environment

• Proven background in building operations functions from the ground up

• A mix of hands-on problem solving and strategic planning

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, technically complex settings

• Collaborative, calm under pressure, and able to bring structure to ambiguity
