This is a fast-growing, innovative deep-tech and semiconductor company at the forefront of next-generation AI hardware. Backed by significant funding and scaling fast, they’re a mission-driven team focused on making a genuine, real-world impact across a range of industries, from consumer tech to automotive.

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you’ll be a trusted strategic partner to leaders as the business scales, translating business priorities into practical, effective people solutions. You’ll own key people initiatives, support leaders through growth and change, and help build a high-performing, healthy organisation — balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

What you’ll be doing

Strategic people initiatives

  • Developing a deep understanding of the business to shape effective people solutions
  • Owning and evolving initiatives across performance & development, learning & development, compensation & benefits, and organisational design
  • Managing scope, stakeholders, budget and external partners for your initiatives
  • Using people data and feedback to identify risks, opportunities, and drive decision-making

Leadership business partnering

  • Acting as a trusted strategic partner to team leads on building strong, engaged teams
  • Coaching and advising leaders on leadership, team dynamics and culture
  • Owning key manager lifecycle moments — onboarding, offboarding, role changes, performance conversations, organisational change
  • Identifying capability gaps and organisational risks alongside the Head of People & Culture

Legal compliance and culture

  • Ensuring compliance with Dutch labour law and internal policy
  • Creating and maintaining fair, business-aligned people policies
  • Managing sensitive employee relations cases — illness, underperformance, conflict, terminations
  • Supporting the coordination and development of the Works Council
  • Championing a culture of well-being, psychological safety, inclusion and continuous learning

Key Skills

  • Solid senior HR/People experience — HRBP, People Business Partner, People & Culture Manager or similar — with strong hands-on leadership partnering and employee relations experience
  • Experience in a fast-growing, international, ideally tech-driven environment, supporting leaders through growth and change
  • Strong coaching and advisory skills, with proven experience across performance, development, conflict and termination conversations
  • Experience running or improving core people processes (reviews, development cycles, goal setting, calibration, manager enablement)
  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and move strategic topics into practical execution
  • Good understanding of Dutch employment law, with sound judgement on when to escalate
  • Strong, clear, pragmatic communication skills
  • Ideally past experience in deep tech scale-up

Benefits & working pattern

  • Competitive salary and pension plan
  • Hybrid working — flexible hours, work-from-home policy, minimum 3 days/week in the office
  • Generous holiday scheme
  • Statutory commuting/home allowance
  • Office perks — fresh fruit, snacks, on-site gym
  • A collaborative, ambitious team culture with room to innovate
