Programme Manager

 Our client is a deep-tech photonics scale-up developing a new laser architecture that tackles one of the biggest manufacturing bottlenecks in silicon photonics. With the core technology proven, they’re now moving into industrialisation and need a hands-on Technical Program Manager to keep it on track.

This is an execution role, not a reporting-only one. Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll own the plan and drive it.

What you’ll do

• Own the master development and industrialisation schedule, with clear ownership, dependencies and critical-path visibility
• Coordinate foundries, packaging partners, test houses and component suppliers
• Track wafer runs, packaging builds, test campaigns, qualification and deliveries
• Manage program-critical purchasing, making sure POs and long-lead items are placed on time
• Spot technical and supply risks early, pull in the right people and drive actions to closure
• Keep leadership informed on risks, trade-offs and decisions needed

What you’ll bring

• Past experience in technical program, project or operations roles
• Must have a background in semiconductors, photonics, advanced packaging or complex hardware
• Strong track record coordinating suppliers, engineering teams and manufacturing schedules
• Enough technical depth to understand dependencies and their impact
• A startup mindset: proactive, pragmatic, persistent in follow-up, and comfortable deciding with incomplete information
