Senior Applications Engineer

This Senior Applications Engineer role focuses on supporting customers developing advanced semiconductor and electronic products. The Senior Applications Engineer will provide technical expertise throughout the product development cycle, helping customers implement and optimise complex design solutions. The Senior Applications Engineer will work closely with engineering, product and customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers throughout the development process
• Assist with product evaluation, integration and validation activities
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations and training
• Work closely with design and development teams to communicate customer requirements
• Support new product introductions and customer projects
• Develop technical documentation and application notes
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience within electronics, semiconductor or embedded systems development
• Strong understanding of hardware development and validation processes
• Experience debugging and analysing electronic systems
• Customer-facing or applications engineering experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple technical projects and priorities

Desirable

• Experience with ASIC, FPGA or SoC-based products
• Knowledge of validation, verification or test methodologies
• Familiarity with embedded software or firmware development
• Experience delivering technical training or customer workshops
• Exposure to semiconductor product development environments
