Senior Physical Implementation Application Engineer

Our client is looking for a Senior Physical Implementation Application Engineer to join their team supporting some of the most advanced semiconductor design projects in the world with Synthesis. In this role, you will be at the forefront of digital and physical design innovation, working directly with leading design teams to solve complex challenges in synthesis, low-power optimisation, and verification.

Skills and Experience

• Strong background in digital and physical design implementation within the semiconductor industry
• Hands-on experience with synthesis is essential 
• Experience with STA, LEC or UPF is nice to have 
• Experience with Genus is highly desirable 
• Knowledge of hardware description languages such as SystemVerilog or VHDL 
• Comfortable in UNIX/Linux environments with scripting experience (TCL, Python, or similar)
• Experience troubleshooting complex design issues and optimising flows for timing, power, and area
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and customer engineers, providing guidance and practical solutions
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
