My client, a well-established and highly respected technical solutions provider, in their search for a commercially driven Technical Sales Manager to cover the UK.

This Technical Sales Manager role sits within a specialist division focused on sensor and electromechanical technologies. It offers a blend of new business development and account management, with a strong emphasis on engaging customers at both engineering and commercial levels.

The successful Technical Sales Manager will take ownership of a regional territory, identifying new opportunities while developing existing relationships. You’ll play a key role in influencing product selection at the design stage, helping customers integrate sensor and related technologies into their applications.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving growth across a portfolio of sensor and associated electronic solutions
  • Building and developing relationships with OEMs, engineers, and procurement teams
  • Identifying and converting new business opportunities within target markets
  • Supporting customers through the full sales cycle, from initial concept through to order
  • Managing a structured pipeline, forecasts, and regular customer engagement activity

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or a similar customer-facing role
  • Exposure to sensors, instrumentation, or electromechanical products
  • Ability to engage in technical discussions and translate requirements into solutions
  • Commercial awareness with a proactive, results-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role

This is a strong opportunity to join our client’s team in a visible and impactful Technical Sales Manager position, offering the chance to work with innovative technologies and a broad customer base across the UK.
