Neil Dickins

In 1999, Neil identified a weak link in the UK technology industry’s internal supply chain. There was no recruitment partner working in the long-term interests of the technology community. As co-founder of IC Resources, Neil started the business to help individuals and companies achieve their ambitions in an exciting sector.

Staying true to that vision remains at the heart of the business. Candidates value having someone act as their personal ‘agent’, while customers value expertise, insight and specialist support. Our hard work and industry commitment have helped IC Resources become a recognised recruitment partner to the global technology community.

Neil now focuses on the areas he is most passionate about professionally. These include maintaining quality and customer service as the company grows. He also works with NMI as its link to government on visa and immigration issues. Neil promotes recruitment best practice and how the right strategies can support business success. He also sponsors and participates in major industry conferences and supports UKESF, the UK Electronics Skills Foundation.

Outside work, Neil still manages to get himself up and down the basketball court occasionally. He has also returned to the Questors Theatre after 13 years away from ‘the boards’.

Neil also remains very intrigued by the intrinsic transformational potential of silly hats.
