A leading semiconductor company is looking to hire an experienced Digital IC Team Manager to lead a highly skilled digital design group.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Digital IC Team Manager to take ownership of a team working on complex projects, helping to drive products from early concept through to silicon production. You’ll play a key role in shaping technical direction, developing methodologies, and ensuring successful project delivery across multiple programmes.
As the Digital IC Team Manager, you’ll provide both technical leadership and people management, supporting engineers across digital design, verification and implementation activities while maintaining a strong focus on quality, efficiency and execution.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Leading and developing a team of digital IC engineers working on advanced semiconductor products
- Supporting project delivery by providing technical guidance, resource planning and risk management
- Driving improvements to design flows, methodologies and development processes
- Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful execution throughout the product lifecycle
- Managing team growth, performance reviews, mentoring and hiring activities
- Contributing to technology roadmaps and longer-term strategic planning
- Encouraging innovation and continuous improvement across the team
- Monitoring project and departmental budgets to ensure objectives are achieved efficiently
Required experience
- Extensive experience within digital IC design, gained over a long-term career in semiconductor development
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing engineering teams
- Strong understanding of digital design flows, verification methodologies and product development processes
- Experience working on complex SoC, sensor or mixed-signal products is highly desirable
- Knowledge of image sensor development would be beneficial but is not essential
- Comfortable driving process improvements, quality initiatives and engineering best practices
