QA Test Engineer, Leuven, Belgium, Up to €640 per day – Immediate Start – 6 Month Initial Term

I am working with an innovative international technology organisation that is seeking an experienced QA Test Engineer to support the testing and validation of enterprise digital platforms and business-critical applications.

The role will involve working across web applications, CRM systems, backend integrations, and automation frameworks within a collaborative Agile delivery environment.

The successful contractor will play a key role in ensuring software quality, stability, and performance across multiple interconnected systems.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong experience in manual and automated testing, API validation, CRM platforms, and enterprise application environments.

Key responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Identify, document, and track defects using modern issue management tools
• Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues
• Validate integrations and data flows between enterprise systems and applications
• Conduct API and backend testing where required
• Ensure application compatibility across browsers, devices, and environments
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint reviews, and QA reporting
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation practices

Required experience

• 4+ years of experience in software QA or testing roles
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA lifecycles
• Experience testing enterprise web applications and CRM platforms
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools
• Strong SQL and API testing knowledge
• Experience with enterprise application platforms and workflow automation tools
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web technologies
• Experience working with system integrations, data validation, and distributed platforms
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Desirable skills

• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery environments
• Knowledge of cloud-based services and deployment pipelines
• Experience with event-driven architectures or messaging platforms
• Performance testing experience
• QA certifications such as ISTQB
• Exposure to AI-assisted or automated testing approaches
