Marcus Coppen

Marcus joined IC Resources in 2025 to support our clients and candidates with their contract requirements across the fast-growing Data Science and Data Engineering sectors.

Before joining IC Resources, Marcus worked as a Portfolio and Investment Associate, giving him valuable commercial insight into how technology decisions impact scaling businesses. He combines that business perspective with a genuine passion for data, bringing clarity, pace and a problem-solving mindset to every search he delivers.

Marcus recently graduated from Swansea University in Accounting and Finance. He speaks French, Spanish and Mandarin, and has travelled widely — including Barbados, the USA, Italy, France and China.

Outside of work, Marcus enjoys football, playing guitar, keeping active at the gym and spending time with his two cats. He’s also proud to have once met his footballing hero, Robin Van Persie — a story he’s always happy to share over a coffee.
